Anyone have those people in their lives, who are really great people, but you can never rely on them. Well I have one of those people. She is my friend and has been for 6 years, but during those years I have learned never to trust her with anything. The first time we worked together on a project I did all the work, because she would flake out on our plans to work every single time! I never learned though, she missed my birthday many times and every time I would give in and forgive her. I am not good at keeping grudges, at least thats what my friends think. I actually remember everything that everyone has ever done to me. I just keep on adding to the list every time, and her list is at least five pages long. Anyway, fast forward to this week, when we have tests in every subject. She asks if we can make a study guide together and split the work, I agreed because I had soccer and other tests and didn't have that much time to study. I finish my part of the guide and email it to her, but she never emails her part, I sent her reminder texts, still no answer. Now it is 9:45 on the night before the test and I still don't have her portion of the work, and am so angry.
Anyway, I just see that I am more reliable than her and hopefully in the real world she won't be able to get away with flaking off all of her responsibilities. The good thing is she is doing really badly in history and I am doing really well. At least she can see that real work pays off and that slacking will never help her.

A post in which I express my feelings about the world cup bid
I am an avid soccer player. I am seriously pursuing playing at a higher level and many people believe that I have the potential. So earlier this week I was looking forward to hearing the results of the bid for the 2018 and 2022 World Cups. I signed the petition for the bid in the USA and was really rooting for the US. I live in New York so I would have been able to go to the venues in New York to see the games and it would have been a great treat. I also believed that the US was going to win the bid.
At ten o'clock on thursday I run to computer during a break in my school day to check who won the bid and I saw that it was Qatar. I don't have anything against Qatar, but I really thought that the US was a better choice. Disappointed I went about my day as usual, not thinking about the world cup until during soccer practice. We were doing fitness and there was nothing else for me to think about, so my mind wandered to the world cup decision. I vaguely remember that my parents had been talking about a scandal that had taken place in regard to the World Cup bid and that a lot of money changed hands. I wondered if this even affected the outcome of the vote.
After thinking about this for a while, I realized how ridiculous this was. Soccer is just a game, I love it and many others do too, but people should vote on which country they think is the best fit for the game and that would properly express the worlds love for the game. Qatar can do that just as well as any other country, and even though I am not sure of how they won the bid, I am happy for their nation and look forward to that world cup nonetheless.

Makeup Review!
Ok so I am starting out my first blog post as a makeup review to share with all of you, my favorite eyeliner.
I have pretty long eye lashes so I usually only use eyeliner on my eyes and it works pretty well, but this eyeliner works really well with other eye products too.

Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-on Eye Pencil. It is the best eyeliner I have ever used. For a natural yet sparkly color I use crash. It is not too bright or shiny but has the perfect amount of shine to spice up a normal day. It is an eggplant color, but it really is more brown than it looks online. If you are looking for something a little brighter or edgier they have colors for that too. They have everything from black to electric blue. I would suggest experimenting and having fun, because these pencils can create some pretty great looks.
